Indian Mains and Women’s Cricket Team in a photo session with King Charles III.
The Indian Mains and Women’s Cricket Team met King Charles III of England at St. James Palace. The Indian Mains and Women’s team is currently on a tour of England.
The Indian Women’s team where the series of five T20 matches has won 3–2, while the team is yet to play a series of 3 ODIs. At the same time, the Indian Mains team is playing a series of 5 Test matches. England are currently 2–1 ahead. He won the second (Lord’s) Test by 22 runs.
Captain Shubman Gill, Vice -captain Rishabh Pant, Jaspreet Bumrah, KL Rahul, and head coach Gautam Gambhir were also present in this special meeting. The team was introduced to King Charles III at Clarition House Garden, where they interacted with the players.

Women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur said, “The experience of meeting King Charles III was special. This was our first meeting with him and he is of a very friendly nature.
He further said, we are playing good cricket and we are getting a lot of opportunities to show ourselves.
The Indian Women’s team recently won the T20 series in England for the first time against England Women’s. The team won the 5-match series 3–2. The team will also play 3 ODIs between 16 and 22 July.

King Charles talked about Lord’s Test- Gill
Indian Test captain Shubman Gill said, meeting King Charles III was a great experience. They called us, it was a great respect for us. The conversation was very good.
Gill said, King Charles told us that the way our last batsman was out in the last Test match was unfortunate. The ball looted the stumps. We also said that the match remained away from our luck, but in the next matches, it is expected that luck will support.

After the defeat in Lord’s Test, Gill said about the Test match:
Both teams played with great passion. We pierced the whole mental and physical strength. When you lose the Test for five days by just 22 runs, the winner is very happy.
He also said, wherever we play, we get tremendous support from Indian fans, for this we consider ourselves lucky.
Lords lost by 22 runs in Test
On the fifth day of Lord’s Test, the Indian team was all out for just 170 runs in the second innings. The target was 193 runs. In the first session, England captain Ben Stokes and fast bowler Joffra Archer put India in trouble by dismissing Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Washington Sundar quickly.
After this, a good partnership was formed between Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Reddy. But just before lunch, Chris Woakes dismissed Reddy and gave a big blow to India’s expectations. India reached 112/8 to lunch.
Jofra Archer, who was playing Test after 4 years, sent Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar in the second innings to the pavilion.
In the second session, Jadeja joined Jaspreet Bumrah. Both shared a 35 -run partnership and made the match a little exciting. But Bumrah tried to play a big shot and was dismissed for 5 runs.
After this, Mohammad Siraj came to the crease and started supporting Jadeja. Jadeja continued the struggle by scoring a half -century.
India had a slight hope of victory in the third session, but off -spinner Shoaib Bashir bowled Siraj and England won the match by 22 runs.
