After passing the online gaming bill, Dream-11 recently decided to separate from Team India’s sponsorship. The bill is banned by gaming platforms.
Apollo Tires will be the new sponsor of the Indian cricket team. The company will spend around Rs 4.5 crore on every match, which is much higher than the 4 crore rupees being given by the previous Sponsor Dream-11. The contract has been up to 2027 and 130 matches will be played during this period.
A BCCI official gave this information to PTI on Tuesday. He said, Apollo Tires has been compromised. We will announce it soon.
The previous sponsor Dream-11 was, but after the government’s online gaming act 2025 came into force, BCCI finished the agreement with Dream 11. The Indian team is playing without sponsorship in the Asia Cup, as the agreement is over before Dream-11.
