Fast bowler Scott Boland will replace injured Josh Hazlewood in the second match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Apart from this, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will also be a part of the playing-11 in Adelaide’s day-night test. This information has been given by Australian captain Pat Cummins.
The second match of BGT will be played in Adelaide from 6 December. Josh Hazlewood got injured before this match played with pink ball. He has low grade left side injury (pain in lower abdomen). Hazlewood took 5 wickets in the Perth Test. He took 4 wickets in the first innings and one wicket in the second innings.
Boland returns to Test team after 18 months Boland is returning to the Kangaroo team after about 18 months. Scott Boland played his last Test match during the Ashes series held in the year 2023, after which now after 519 days, he has once again been included in the playing 11 of the Australian Test team.
Mitchell Marsh fully fit Questions were also being raised on Marsh’s fitness after the first test. The Australian coach had said that he was not completely fit. However, later Mitchell Marsh himself gave his fitness update and said that I am completely fit. All-rounder Beau Webster has been included in the team in place of Marsh.
