According to the report, at the request of Rohit Sharma, BCCI has called Dilip back. Sources say that Rohit personally requested Gambhir to maintain Dileep despite declaration of retirement from Test cricket. Ryan Ten Deskatte, who was initially expected to replace him, will remain as an assistant coach.
