Team India will land in the Cricket Asia Cup without jersey sponsor. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) posted a video of Team India on Saturday. It can be seen in the video that no sponsor is named in the new jersey.
On the left side of Jersey is BCCI logo, while DP World Asia Cup is written on the right side. DP World Asia Cup is the sponsor of 2025. Apart from this, only India’s name is written on Jersey.
Dream-11 ended the agreement with BCCI after implementing the government’s online gaming Act-2025 on 22 August. After this, BCCI issued a tender for Jersey Sponsorship on 2 September. The last date to buy the tender is 12 September. The last date for bidding of sponsorship has been fixed on 16 September. At the same time, the Asia Cup starts from 9 September.
Deal between Dream 11 and BCCI canceled The agreement in Dream 11 and BCCI is over. In the year 2023, Dream 11 became the Jersey Sponsor of Team India. The deal was for 3 years, but this deal was canceled only 6 months before time. The central government made a big change in the online gaming act in August and banned the money transactions apps. After this, Dream 11 suffered a major setback. Now BCCI is looking for a new jersey sponsorship.
Asia Cup will start from 9 September The Asia Cup 2025 will start from 9 September. The Indian team is to play the first match against UAE on 10 September. After this, the match between India and Pakistan will be played on 14 September. On September 19, Team India will play against Oman.
