Mohammed Shami came for practice in Kolkata with a bandage on his left knee. Shami is included in Team India in the home T-20 series against England. He has returned to international cricket after a long gap of 14 months.
He played in the final match against Australia on 19 November in the 2023 ODI World Cup held in India. Since then he has been away from international cricket due to injury. The first match of the series will be played in Kolkata on 22 January.
