The fourth Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy is being played between India and England in Manchester. On the first day of the match on Wednesday, Team India lost the 14th consecutive toss. Rishabh Pant was injured during the batting, after which he had to go out retired.
Former Indian wicketkeeper Farooq Engineer and World Cup Winning Captain Class Clive Lloyd formed a stand at the Old Trafford Stadium. Both started the match by ringing the bell. Rahul and Pant also completed 1000 Test runs in England.

4. Yashasvi’s bat broken In the 5th over of the Indian innings, the handle of Yashasvi Jaiswal’s bat broke. The 5th ball of Chris Woakes’s over came in with good length, Jaiswal wanted to defend it. The ball was near the ball handle and the bat handle broke. In such a situation, the Indian opener had to order another bat. Yashasvi put fifty and completed his 1000 Test runs against England.

5. Sudarshan got life Sai Sudarshan got a life on the third ball of the 48th over. Ben Stokes threw a full length ball outside the leg stump. Sudarshan went to flick, but the ball went towards the wicketkeeper with his bat. Jamie Smith tried to take the catch, but the ball was missed by her hand. Sudarshan was on a score of 20 runs at the time of life, he put a fifty.
