Iga Swatek of Poland will now face Belinda Benakik of Switzerland in the semi -finals.
Poland’s Iga Swatek made it to the semi -finals at Wimbledon’s Women’s Singles event. He defeated Russia’s Ludmila Samsanova in straight sets. Defending champion Carlos Alkaraj also made it to the semi -finals in Mains Singles.

Alkaraj reached the semi -finals of Mans Singles Wimbledon’s defending champion Spain’s Carlos Alkaraj entered the semi -finals of Mains Singles. He defeated Cameron Nori of Britain by a margin of 6-2, 6-3, 6-3. He will face Taylor Fritz of America in the semi -finals.

World No-2 pair lost in mixed doubles The final match of mixed doubles will be between 2 non -seeded couples. World No-2 and number-8 pair suffered defeat in the semi-finals on Wednesday. Britain’s Louisa Stephani and Britain Joe Salisbury defeated the pair of Marcello Arewalo of World No-2 Al Salvador and Jhang Shual of China by a margin of 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-4).
In the second semi-finals of Wednesday, the non-seeded pair of Sem Varbik of Netherlands and Katrina Siniakova of Czech Republic defeated Hungary’s Timia Babos and Matt Powich of Croatia’s Matt Powich. Both won the match by a margin of 7-3, 7-5.
