India won the 2024 T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
The ICC has announced the 2024 T20 Team of the Year. 4 Indian players have got a place in this team released on Saturday. Rohit Sharma has been made the captain. Apart from them, all -rounder Hardik Pandya and fast bowlers Jaspreet Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh are also included in the team. More than one players from any other country other than India have got a chance.
The team also includes Babar Azam of Pakistan, Australia as Travis Head and Rashid Khan of Afghanistan. A day earlier, the ICC announced the Test Team of Year and ODI of Year. The International Cricket Council releases the team of all three formats every year based on the performance of the players.
