1. Haryana CET 2025 notification released

Haryana Government has released the notification of CET exam. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website hssc.gov.in. The score for Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be valid for three years.

After the amendment in the policy of CET, now under this recruitment, candidates will not be given additional five marks on social and economic basis. Shortlisted candidates 10 times more than the number of posts will be called for screening test. Earlier, fewer (4 times) candidates were called.

1. 16 lakh girls left school in 2023-24

There has been a decline in the number of school going students in India. According to government figures, 16 lakh girls have left school in the year 2023-24.

These figures have been revealed in the report of the Integrated District Education Information System i.e. UDISE of the Ministry of Education. According to this, 37 lakh students have left school in 2023-24. Apart from this, 26.9% students registered at the national level are from General, 18% SC, 9.9% ST and 45.2% students are from OBC category.

2. GATE 2025 admit card will now be released on January 7

GATE 2025 admit cards were scheduled to be released today but its date has been revised. Now these admit cards will be released on January 7 on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Its exam will be held from 1st to 16th February.

3. JEE Mains 2025 schedule released

NTA has released the dates of JEE Mains 2025 exam. There will be two papers of JEE Mains. Paper 1 will be for BE, BTech entrance and Paper 2 will be for BArch, BPharma. Paper 1 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 this year. Whereas Paper 2 will be held on 30th January.
