Amrita alias Meetu, a student of DCM Senior Secondary School located in Bithmada village of Hisar district, has illuminated the name of village, region and state internationally. Amrita selected in the Indian handball team for the 11th Asian Youth Women’s Handball Championship 2025

Giving information, Chief Secretary of Handball Association, Tej Raj said that Amrita performed brilliantly in the recently held India camp, on the basis of which she was included in Team India. Tej Raj expressed confidence that India’s team will perform the first place in the competition by performing well this time.

On this magnificent achievement, DCM School Chairman Sanjay DCM, Director Raju DCM, Principal Sunil Sharma, Manju Sehra and Gurmel greeted Amrita. Along with this, Chief Secretary of India Hetraj, Haryana Secretary Sandeep Kotia, Hisar Secretary Rajesh Grewal were also congratulated.
Coaches and guides also appreciated
Team India coaches Naveen Punia, Sachin Chaudhary, Sai coach Karthikeya and Arun were also special thanks to the players and prepared them for international level by giving better training to the players. Handball coaches Kapil, Sunil, Surendra, Rajesh Dalal, Dharmveer, school staff, parents and residents also expressed happiness to Amrita.
On this occasion, the contribution of coaches Sukhvindra, Munish, Bahadur, Ramesh and Pooja was also appreciated and their hard work was praised with an open heart.
