Mohammed Shami has been ordered by the Kolkata High Court to give Rs 4 lakh every month to Haseen Jahan and daughter Aira, who lived separate from his wife in divorce. Mohammed Shami will have to pay this rupee for a month’s maintenance. Shami’s case was heard on April 21, 2025, on which a decision came on 1 July 2025.
According to the order, Haseen Jahan will get Rs 1.50 lakh and daughter Arara will get Rs 2.50 lakh per month. This amount will be applicable for the last seven years. At the same time, the lower court has been directed to settle the case in six months.
What is the matter? The Kolkata High Court has also ordered the lower court to dispose of the case within the next six months. Mohammed Shami and Haseen Jahan took place on April 7, 2014. Nearly a year after the wedding, on July 17, 2015, a daughter of both of them was born, named Aira. Shami came to know after her daughter Aira had that Haseen Jahan was already married and had two children from her first marriage.
Mohammed Shami’s wife accused the cricketer and his family of committing violence. After this, the hearing in this case is going on since 2018. The decision on this has already come. But the amount of Shami’s wife was less visible, so she knocked on the door of the court.
