Classon played his last ODI in the Champions Trophy.
South African wicketkeeper batsman Henrik Klasson has announced his retirement from international cricket. He wrote in the social media post- ‘I am taking retirement to spend more time with my family.’
33 -year -old Klasan scored 2141 runs in 60 ODIs, including 4 centuries and 11 half -centuries. Scored 1000 runs in 58 T20 matches, including 5 half-centuries. Classon retired from Test cricket last year.

This is a sad day for me, because I have decided to get away from international cricket. It took me a long time to decide what is better for me and my family.
He further wrote-
Representing my country from the very first day was the greatest honor for me. This was the one whom a young boy dreamed. I am excited to spend more time with my family. Because, this decision allows me to live with the family.
Last ODI played in Champions Trophy Henrich Klasson played the last ODI against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy. He could only score 3 runs after playing 7 balls in this match. He could only score 67 runs in two matches of the tournament. It included a fifty.
The South African team was out of New Zealand in the semi -finals of the Champions Trophy. Kiwis defeated him by 50 runs. The Indian team later defeated New Zealand to win the Champions Trophy title after 12 years.
Debut against India in 2018 Classon made her ODI debut against India in 2018. He could only score 6 runs in his debut match. The match played in Cape Town was won by the Indian team by a margin of 124 runs.
