Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been fined by BCCI for a slow over rate. On Saturday, the ninth match of IPL-2025 in Ahmedabad was played between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians.
In this match, Mumbai team was winning the toss and was fielding first and could not throw 20 overs in the stipulated time. For this reason, the team had to keep a fielder more in 30 yard circles in the last over.

New rules of slow over rate in IPL In the IPL-2025, the captains will no longer be banned from the match for the slow over rate, but the demerit points will be added to their account, which will be for three years. On the offense of the level 1, 25 to 75 percent of the match fees will be fined and demerit points. There will be 4 demerit points directly on the serious crime of Level 2.
