- Government Will Make Entrance Like NEET NET Zero Error From January

The Government of India is going to implement reforms for glitch-free and zero error entrance examinations based on the recommendations of the Radhakrishnan Committee. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan asked the state governments to implement the system in zero error entrance exam.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Tuesday, November 12 that the Central Government is implementing reforms in the major entrance exams like NEET/NET exams being held in the country from January. He also appealed to the state governments to extend their support in this.

Radhakrishnan Panel has prepared a report on reforms in the National Testing Agency (NTA). I have appealed to the Education Secretaries of all the state governments to implement the reforms from January. In view of the increasing cases of paper leaks in the year 2024, the government has introduced these reforms.
Pradhan said this at the inauguration of a two-day National Workshop on High Technical Education with Secretaries of States/Union Territories in New Delhi. Minister of State for Education and Development of North-Eastern Region, Dr. Sukant Majumdar was also present in this program. On this occasion, Education Secretaries of all the states and the Center including the Secretary of Higher Education Department, Shri K. Sanjay Murthy were present.

In this workshop, Radhakrishnan Committee presented its proposal to the states. In this, the biggest task will be to make the examinations error free and this will involve working as a team.
Pradhan said, to reduce the exam stress of students and ensure proper mapping, a hybrid model and a multi-step NEET-UG format will be created along with online tests, digitally circulating question papers.
Committee formed after rigging in NEET The National Testing Agency has already come under the scanner due to the leaking and cancellation of the Medical Entrance Exam (NEET) and PhD entrance exam. Amidst these questions, this committee has been formed to bring transparency in NTA exam and conduct the exam in a better way.
This panel was formed in June under the chairmanship of former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan. The panel was given the responsibility to examine the existing security protocols related to the setting of question papers and the rest of the process for several examinations.
The panel included Randeep Guleria, former director of AIIMS Delhi, BJ Rao, vice-chancellor of Hyderabad Central University, K Ramamurthy, professor emeritus of the civil engineering department of IIT Madras, Pankaj Bansal, co-founder of People Strong and member of Karmayogi Bharat Board, IIT Delhi. Dean of Students Aditya Mittal and Joint Secretary of Education Ministry Govind Jaiswal are also included.
NEET PG 2024 exam was also canceled
NEET was under investigation due to NEET paper leak as well as several irregularities. Whereas, UGC-NET was canceled as the ministry received inputs that there was no transparency in the exam.
CSIR-UGC NET and NEET PG exams were also canceled just before the exam saying that there could be some issue of paper leak in this too, hence it is being postponed.
