A video of Agniveer recruitment rally has surfaced in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. In this video, youth are being taken from the railway station in a garbage van for the Agniveer rally.

In this video that has gone viral on social media, it is clearly seen that these youth have been taken from the railway station to the stadium in a garbage van. Actually, between December 4 and 12, rallies are being organized in 33 districts of Chhattisgarh for candidates of all categories and these Agniveer were being taken there in a government garbage vehicle.

Chhattisgarh government had said that there will be complete facilities for accommodation and food.

For this recruitment, not only were the firefighters taken to the stadium in a garbage van, but they were also made to sit in a line on the road. The candidates allege that the administration did not make any arrangements for their food nor did they provide drinking water.

Raipur Government in its notice had talked about taking the candidates from the railway station to the stadium i.e. the recruitment venue for free. On December 5, the government had also issued a notice asking people not to get caught in any kind of scam regarding the army recruitment rally. But perhaps even the Agniveer youth would not have guessed that they would be taken away in a garbage van.

Flowers given as welcome as soon as they got off the garbage cart

After reaching the stadium by garbage vehicle, the officials welcomed the Agniveer candidates with drums and also gave them flowers.

Candidates had registered for this rally through online mode in February-March. Online CEE exam was conducted in April-May 2024. Its result was released in May-June 2024 and shortlisted candidates were informed through e-mail.

Candidates were to report at the gate of Raigarh Stadium, Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) on the date and time given in the Rally Admit Card. Most of the candidates participating in this army recruitment rally are from Balod district and Janjgir Champa district.

Documents required for candidates

Candidates will be required to carry rally admit card along with 8th, 10th, 12th and graduation mark sheets, address proof, NCC, sports, ITI, driving license, relationship certificate and mobile number linked to JIA and Aadhaar card.

Recruitment will start in Meerut also from 24th December

Agniveer recruitment rally will be held in Saharanpur from 24 December 2024 to 3 January 2025 in 13 districts under Meerut Army. This rally will be organized at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, Subhash Nagar. This rally will include such candidates who have passed the online CEE i.e. Joint Entrance Examination held between April to May 2024.

More than one lakh candidates had appeared from 13 districts. Out of these, about 15,000 candidates have been successful in participating in the recruitment rally. Separate admit card has been issued for all those candidates who have passed the online CEE.

Candidates from these districts included

Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Rampur, Moradabad, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Hapur.
