Told his strategy regarding IPL

Vaibhav said, ‘I am very happy. The dream of playing IPL is now about to be fulfilled. I am also working hard in the same way, so that I can perform well there. The only strategy I have made regarding IPL is to give my best.

Vaibhav further said that ‘More than being sold for crores, I am happy that I am getting a chance to play in IPL. Along with this, I am most happy that I am going to play under the coach of Rajasthan Royals team, Rahul Dravid. Playing under him will give me a chance to learn a lot.

He considers West Indies player as his idol

Regarding his interest in cricket, Vaibhav said that ‘I liked cricket since childhood. My father also used to play cricket. His dream was also to earn name in cricket. I also used to play cricket well since childhood. My father also wanted me to progress in this field. I consider West Indies player Brian Lara as my idol. Going forward, I want to make my place in the senior cricket team and play for the country. This is my dream.

Rajasthan called for trials

Rajasthan Royals had called Vaibhav for trials in Nagpur. Batting coach Vikram Rathore gave him the match situation and said that he had to score 17 runs on 6 balls. Vaibhav hit 3 sixes.
