While talking on Elevating Teacher, Elevating India, Dharmendra Pradhan said that this app will help both teachers and students and it will make teachers more advanced.
Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan has launched Teacher App on digital platform to make teachers advanced and skilled. This platform has been developed by Bharti Airtel Foundation.
The Education Minister said, ‘This platform will make it easier for teachers to access world class resources and good practices. It will also improve the learning skills of teachers. Pradhan described the teachers as ‘karmayogi’.

App will make teachers innovative
Teacher App has been developed keeping in mind the problems teachers face in the field. Teachers will be able to download this app for free from Play Store. The app has been developed based on direct input from teachers and is available on web, iOS and Android.
This platform will save teachers’ time and make them innovative. This app will have 260 hours of created and curated courses with high quality resources. This will also include learning bytes, short videos, podcasts and interactive, webinars, competitions and quiz formats.
Facilities like live experts, practical classrooms
Live experts will also be included in this app. Practical classroom and strategies will also be included in this. Along with this, there will also be a community of such teachers, whose exceptional or inspiring stories will be included. The app combines technological innovation with partnerships across 12 states to transform education.
The platform has a Teaching Kit section, which includes 900 hours of content. The feature is designed with tools for delivery in the classroom, including educational videos, project-based education activities, worksheets, classes and question banks.
Education Minister Pradhan said, teachers are ‘karmayogi’. This app will help both teachers and students and it will make teachers more advanced.
