Suranga Villalage, father of Sri Lankan all -rounder Dunith Willage, died on Thursday, 18 September. The same day Dunith played the Asia Cup Group-B match against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
22 -year -old Villlage came to know about the news of his father’s death only after the match. Sri Lanka won the match by six wickets and qualified for the Super-4 round of the tournament. Soon after the match was over, he left for home. In such a situation, he has doubted playing in the front bouts.
