Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE-BHU) Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi has started the application process for the free coaching scheme for SC and OBC students for the batch of 2024-25.
For this, online applications have been invited from SC and OBC candidates. DACE program is to provide better and free coaching to economically backward Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates. Its objective is to prepare them for competitive exams for better jobs in the government sector.

State Public Service Exam (SPSC)

Required documents
- The total family income of the candidate should not exceed Rs 8 lakh.
- Candidates taking DACE-BHU Civil Services coaching cannot do any other academic course.
- Valid Aadhaar number will also be required.
Selection Mode:
- Through offline exam and personal interview.
- The interview will be conducted at BHU DACE Centre.
30 percent slots reserved for female candidates
In this free coaching scheme, admission can be given to minimum 50 students and maximum 100 seats. There should be 70 percent SC students in this.
If seats are not filled in SC category, then relaxation can be given. However, in no case can the number of SC category students be less than 50%.
Also, 30 percent slots in each category will be reserved for women candidates. If there are not sufficient number of female candidates in any category, then male candidates of the same category will be selected by DAF.
