Rajasthan Coaching Centers (Control and Regulation) Bill 2025 has been passed by the State Cabinet. In the cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, this bill was passed so that the functioning of coaching centers could be monitored and the mental health of the students can be taken care of.

Rajasthan Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that the bill will be brought for debate in the upcoming session of assembly.

The provisions of the Land Revenue Act have also been included in it. The coaching centers which will be found to be violating the rules and their property will also be seized under this Act.

24 -hour -long helpline will also be launched

The state government will set up the Rajasthan Coaching Institutes (Control and Regulation) Authority that will ensure that these rules are implemented and followed properly. The Secretary of the Higher Education Department will be the chairman of this authority.

At the district level, the District Magistrate will be made its president. Along with this, the State Level Online Portal and 24 -hour helpline will be launched where students will be counseled to overcome the pressure of studies.

7 students suicide within two months in the state

This decision of the Rajasthan government has come during the growing student suicide in Kota. So far this year, 7 students have committed suicide in Kota.
