More than 15 lakh students chose standard

To reduce the study burden on students, the National Education Policy, 2020 states that “all subjects starting with Maths will be included in it.

Study pressure on students will reduce

According to sources, the reason for introducing science and social science at two levels for classes 9th and 10th is that such students want to study these subjects, they are to be allowed standard level education in these subjects in class 11th.

Along with this, if it is implemented then students will also be given time period for subject choice. They can also switch their subjects if they do not want to study at the standard level.

Standard level study means additional learning. In which the course is made advanced. It has more courses than the basic syllabus. Its question papers are also different.
