The notification of Common Admission Test i.e. CAT 2025 has been released. Candidates can apply to the official website of CAT from August 1, 2025, to do MBA from IIM and other major business schools in India. The CAT 2024 exam will be held on Sunday 24 November and its result can come by January 2025.
- Registration starts: 1 August 2025, 10 am
- Last Date: 13 September 2025, 5 pm
- Admit Card: 5 November to 30 November 2025
- Exam Date: 30 November, 2025
- Result Date: January 2026 First Week (Tental)
How to apply
- Go to the official website of IIM Cat Iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the link ‘New Registration’ and enter other information including valid email ID.
- After this, fill the CAT 2025 application form.
- Upload the necessary documents, pay the payment and click on the submit button.
- Keep a printout for the future.
Essential documents
- Class 10th, 12th marksheet
- Graduation marksheet
- Work Experience (If applied)
- ID, passport size photo
- Signature
- Last year students will have to upload a certificate from the institute.
CAT Registration Fee and Eligibility Criteria
- Cat candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Minimum 50% marks or CGPA is required for general category.
- It is necessary to have 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD. Candidates that are currently in the final year will also eligible for it.
Fees:
- The CAT registration fee is Rs 2600 for general category and Rs 1300 for SC/ST/PWD.
- The CAT exam will be conducted in 170 cities. Candidates will have an option to select five cities.
