Italian player Janic Sinner defeated Spanish player Carlos Alkaraj on Sunday to win the Wimbledon Championship title for the first time. Sinner defeated Alkaraja 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in Men’s singles. With this, he has become the first male player from Italy to win the Wimbledon Championship in the history of 148 years.
This is the first Grand Slam title of Sinner’s career. Karlos Alkaraj suffered a defeat in the Grand Slam final for the first time. With this defeat, Alkraj’s series of 24 consecutive matches win is over.
