1. PM Modi inaugurated 103 Amrit Bharat stations
On 22 May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Rs 26,000 crore development projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
PM Modi inaugurated the Deshnock Railway Station in Bikaner.
- Also, PM flagged off the Bikaner-Bandra weekly train.

2. Sticched ship (Silated ship) joined the Indian Navy
On 21 May, the ancient stitched ship (sticched ship) was officially included in the Indian Navy. It was named Indian Naval Sailing Vesel i.e. INSV Kundinya.
The ship joined the Navy fleet during a ceremony held on Karwar Naval Base in Karnataka in the presence of Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
- It is named after the Indian sailor Kaundinya, who crossed the Indian Ocean and traveled to South-East Asia.
- This ship will travel on the traditional trade route from Gujarat to Oman at the end of the year.
- This stitched ship has square sails and steering boards.
- The steering board was used to control the ship before the invention of the hull.
- The shapes of Gandabherund (bird) and Sun are formed on the ships of the ship.
- The project of making ship with sewing technology included the Ministry of Culture, Navy and Hodi Innovation.
- They had an agreement between them in July 2023 and the Ministry of Culture had funded for it.
- On September 12, 2023, the work of laying the ship’s nail was done.

1. Now medical institutions will have to pay fees details in NEET-PG
On May 22, a bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan heard the transparency petitions in NEET PG. During this time, the court ordered that all private and deemed university should issue full fees details including tuition, hostel before counseling.
The bench also ordered a penalty to block the seat at the time of counseling. Also said that if a student does this, then he should be disconnected from the next exam of NEET-PG.
2. 17 -year -old polytechnic student commits suicide on the last day of exam
On 20 May, a 17 -year -old student of a government polytechnic institute committed suicide in Latur district of Maharashtra. Police said that the student was a resident of Mangyal village in Nanded district.
The student was a first year diploma student of Computer Engineering at Government Residential Women Polytechnic. He committed suicide by hanging himself in a college hostel on the last day of his exam.
According to the police, the last examination of the current semester was scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm. However, during the examination, she returned to the hostel around 3 pm and hanged in her room using dupatta.
