Mustafizur has taken 61 wickets in the IPL.
Delhi Capitals (DC) has added Bangladeshi Pesar Mustafizur Rahman to the replacement team. They will replace opener Jack Fraser McGark. Australian player McGark will not come to India to participate in the remaining matches of IPL 2025.
Mustafizur was earlier with DC in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He won the title with Sunrisers Hyderabad in his first season in 2016, taking 16 wickets. Mustafizur became the first foreign player to win the title of Emerging Player of Year in the same year.
Mustafizur has played for DC in 2022 and 2023 seasons.
To take 61 wickets in IPL
Mustafizur has played for 4 IPL teams. He was part of the Chennai Super Kings in 2024. Apart from this, Mustafizur has played for Mumbai, Delhi and Rajasthan. He has taken 61 wickets in a total of 57 IPL matches. DC has included them in Rs 6 crore this season.
Third left arm pacer for DC
Mustafizur will be the third left -handed fast bowler for Delhi Capitals. The team also already has Mitchell Starc and T Natarajan. Stark is the highest wicket -taking bowler for the team. He has taken 14 wickets with 5 wickets once in 11 matches so far.
