Kuhneman made an International debut in ODI against Sri Lanka in 2022.
The bowling action of Australia’s left -arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann has been found suspicious after the Sri Lanka Test series. They will now have to undergo a test in the ICC -recognized center. When
Kuhneman was the top wicket in the 2 -match Test series played against Sri Lanka. He took 16 wickets in 2 matches. Australia won this series 2–0.
Kuhneman started playing professional cricket in 2017. Since then, his action has been questioned. As long as their action is evaluated, they can continue to play domestic cricket. Kuhneman made an International debut in ODI against Sri Lanka in 2022.
For the first time, Kuhnemann’s bowling action questioned Cricket Australia said, after the second Test against Sri Lanka, the Australian team was informed by match officials about Kuhneman’s bowling action. Matt has played 124 professional matches since his debut in 2017, including five Tests and four ODIs. He has played 55 Big Bash League matches since 2018. This is the first time in those eight years of professional cricket that his action has been questioned.
The bowler can turn his elbow up to 15 degrees According to the current rules of cricket, the bowlers are allowed to bowl under 15 degrees rules. According to ICC rules, anyone can fold his elbow to 15 degrees after going over the shoulder while bowling. If a bowler bends his elbow over 15 degrees, it is considered an illegal bowling action.
