The mascot of the tournament is designed as a tiger. Which is named ‘Chand’. This name contains a deep message in itself. In memory of Major Dhyanchand, who became immortal in the world of hockey by practicing on moonlight nights. Asia’s giant teams gather
Seven Asia teams are participating in this time tournament. Teams from China, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, South Korea and Oman will showcase their skills in hosting India. However, Pakistan’s team is not participating this time for some reason.

Two separate routes have been set for the trophy visit. The first route will reach Rajgir on August 28 via Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Eastern and West Champaran, Gopalganj and Siwan. The second route will go to Rajgir via Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya.
