Preview video of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s web series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ has been released. Aryan is making his debut as a writer-director. The trailer of this web series was launched in a grand event in Mumbai on Wednesday, August 20.
The ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ web series will be stream on the OTT platform Netflix from 18 September 2025.
Studied in top schools around the world
Aryan Khan’s early studies were held at Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), one of the world’s top schools in Mumbai. It is a school of Reliance Industries and its chairman is Neeta Ambani. According to the report ‘HSBC Hurun Education Global High Schools 2025’, DAIS is ranked 5th in the list of schools outside the United States and UK, while the US and Britain schools are also at number 77.
He was then sent to London (UK). Here he studied from Sevenoaks School, Kent to 12th. The school was established in 1432. It is the second oldest non-communal school in UK.
Sevenox is considered one of the top leading schools in UK. People of Royal Family have also studied at this prestigious International School.
After this Aryan moved to America in the year 2017. Here he took admission in the School of Cinematic Arts of the University of Southern California (USC). Then did the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Television Production Course. During this time he learned directions and writing skills. He graduated in the year 2020.
Acting in 4 years and debut in vice over in 7 years
Aryan appeared on a big screen for the first time at the age of 4 in 2001. He played the childhood character of father Shah Rukh Khan in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum.
Then in 2004, he gave voice to Dash in the Hindi dub of Disney film The Incredibles. This was the beginning of his voice over career.
After this, again in 2006, the film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna played a small role. He acted for the second time Shah Rukh’s younger version.
Then in 2019, Aryan did the second voice over. Disney gave voice to Simba in the Hindi dub of the film The Lion King. In this film, Shah Rukh gave voice to Mufasa.
Went to jail in drugs case
On the day of Gandhi Jayanti in the year 2021 i.e. on October 2, a party was being held on a Goa-Bound Cruise Ship. It was organizing it an event company in Delhi.
Narcotics Control Bureau i.e. NCB received information that drugs could be used in this party. NCB’s Mumbai unit, under the leadership of zonal director Sameer Wankhede, climbed on the ship as a passenger. In a raid from 10 pm to 2 pm, other drugs including cocaine and charas were seized in large quantities.
Aryan Khan, who was going to ride on a ship to join this party, was arrested along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant. He was lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.
The NCB filed a 6,000 -page charge sheet in the drugs case, in which a complaint was made against 14 accused, including Aryan Khan.
Aryan was released from Arthur Road Jail on 30 October due to delay in bail papers. Then on May 27, 2022, Aryan Khan and 5 others were given a clean chit due to lack of adequate evidence.
Started a company called slab venture
Aryan Khan, along with his friend and partner Bunty Singh and Letti Blagoa, thought of the idea of lifestyle startup. Then in 2022 Slab Venture Private Limited Slab Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Started This company focuses on lifestyle, luxury and premium beverages brands.
D’yavol brand started
Aryan started the D’Yavol brand under Slab Ventures this year. With its launch, the company entered the luxury beverages sector. Its name is inspired by the Bulgarian word ‘Devil’.
D’yavol whiskey and vodka launched
Then in the year 2022, he launched a premium vodka brand called D’Yavol Vodka in partnership with Global Broving Company Anheuser-Busch Inbev. In December 2022, he came to the Vodka market. Then in 2023 launched a blended malt scotch whiskey named D’Yavol Inception.
D’yavol x has a premium lifestyle brand
Aryan launched a premium lifestyle brand named D’Yavol X in the year 2023. It is a luxury street -ware brand, including both clothes and accessories.
The first collection of D’Yavol X was launched on 30 April 2025.
For this, he also directed an ad video, including his father Shah Rukh Khan. This was his first direction project.
In August 2025, Aryan, along with the liquor company Radico Khaitan, launched a premium tequila venture named D’Yavol Añejo. Its global launching will take place in December 2025.
Debut web series preview video released
Aryan’s preview video of his first web series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ was released on 20 August 2025. The series is written and directed by Aryan.
The 2 -minute 38 second trailer of the series was launched during the event.
It stars Lakshya Lalwani in the lead role. At the same time, artists like Bobby Deol, Sahar Bamba, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal are also included. The cameo has actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar.
