1. Fangal storm arose from the Bay of Bengal
The Fengal storm that arose from the Bay of Bengal has turned into a cyclone today. It will move towards Tamil Nadu in the next two days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, winds will blow at a speed of 75-80 kmph during this period. Due to this, continuous rain continues in Chennai, Chengalpet, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam.
‘Fengal’ is an Arabic word, a blend of linguistic tradition and cultural identity. The term reflects regional variations in the naming panels of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission (UNESCAP).
The name of this storm ‘Fengal’ has been proposed by Saudi Arabia.
2. Central Government launches ‘Child Marriage Free India’ national campaign
The Central Government launched the ‘Child Marriage Free India’ national campaign on 27 November in New Delhi. The aim of this campaign is to make the country a child marriage free nation. During the programme, Annapurna Devi also unveiled the Child Marriage Free India Portal. This online platform has been developed for the campaign to raise awareness, prevent child marriage and register incidents of child marriage. This national campaign is inspired by the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship scheme ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ launched on January 22, 2015.
Launching the campaign, Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi said that the government has identified 130 districts where this campaign will mainly be run.

1. BSF has recruited 275 posts for 10th pass.
Border Security Force (BSF) has issued recruitment notification for 275 posts. The application for this recruitment is being started from 1st December. After the start of the application, candidates can apply by visiting the official website bsf.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass.
- Must also have a recognized sports qualification related to the sport.
Age Limit:
- 18 – 23 years
- Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2025.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

2. UPSC Recruitment for 1930 Nursing Officer posts

Educational Qualification:
Diploma B.Sc,(Hons) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Must be nursing.
Age Limit:
30 – 40 years

1. Center approves One Nation One Subscription
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, November 25 approved the ‘One Nation One Subscription’ (ONOS) scheme. After this scheme, researchers of the country will not need to wander for research papers. These research papers will be available at one place in e-journals.
After this scheme, students, teachers and researchers of all the higher institutes being run with the help of Central and State Government will be able to access e-journals of more than 13 thousand national and international institutes.
2. Nursery admission starts in private schools of Delhi from 28th November.
The process of admission for nursery, KG and first class is starting in private schools of Delhi from 28th November. In this, 25% seats are reserved for EWS i.e. Economically Weaker Section and disabled children. The age of the child should be 3 years for admission in nursery, 4 years for KG and 5 years for first class. Parents can use ration card, residence certificate, voter ID card, electricity bill or Aadhar card for proof of residence.
3. Final result of BPSC 69th recruitment released
Bihar Public Service Commission i.e. BPSC has released the result of 69th Combined Competitive Examination on Tuesday. 470 candidates have been successful in this. Although the number of posts is 475. Ujjwal Kumar Upkar, resident of Sitamarhi, has come first in this exam. His father runs a coaching center in the village and his mother is an Anganwadi worker. He has been selected for the post of DSP in Bihar Police. The only female candidate in the top-10 is Kranti Kumari who has secured sixth rank. He has been selected for the post of Revenue Officer.
