Punjab batsman Anmolpreet Singh scored a century in 35 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 on Saturday. Anmolpreet has become the Indian batsman to score the fastest century in List-A cricket.
Anmolpreet broke the record of former Indian batsman Yusuf Pathan, who scored a century in 40 balls for Baroda against Maharashtra in 2010. Anmolpreet played a quick inning of 115 runs in just 45 balls with the help of 12 fours and 9 sixes.

Third fastest century in List-A history Anmolpreet’s century in 35 balls is now the third fastest century in List-A history. He is behind only Australia’s Jake Fraser McGurk and South Africa’s great AB de Villiers.
