Indian opener Abhishek Sharma has been injured before the second T20. He suffered an ankle injury during practice at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday.
Abhishek, who played a match-winning inning of 79 runs in the first T20, twisted his ankle during a catching drill in the nets. He may be out of the team in the second T20 to be played tomorrow.

After getting injured, Abhishek was not able to stand.

Physiotherapist examined Abhishek The Indian team did net practice in the evening at MA Chidambaram Stadium on 24 January before the second T20 match to be played in Chennai. According to news agency PTI, Abhishek Sharma suffered an ankle injury while taking a catch in fielding practice.

In place of Abhishek, the team can give a chance to Washington Sundar or Dhruv Jurel.
