Indian batsman Shubman Gill has recovered from a thumb injury. He was seen doing nets in Canberra on Friday. They were playing the ball of Akash Deep and Yash Dayal. Before this, Gill practiced with the throw-downer.
25 year old Shubhman Gill can be seen playing in a two-day practice match with Prime Minister’s XI from 30th November. He was injured during practice before the Perth Test. He had a fracture in his thumb.

Had to leave Perth Test due to injury Gill had to leave the Perth Test due to a thumb injury. Devdutt Padikkal was given a chance in his place, although Padikkal could not capitalize on that opportunity. He scored only 25 runs in the first test against Australia. He could not even open his account in the first innings.
Padikkal was out for zero in the first innings of the Perth Test. He could score only 25 runs in the second innings.
Will return with captain Rohit Shubman Gill will make a comeback in the Adelaide Test along with captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma was not a part of the team in Perth Test due to paternity leave. He became a father for the second time on 15 November and due to this he was not available for selection in the first Test match.
Athlete test will be held from 6th December, practice match from 30th November India has to play the second match of the Test series against Australia from December 6 at Adelaide Oval ground. This day-night match is to be played with pink ball. Before this, a 2-day practice match is to be played between both the teams India and PM XI from 30th November. Practice matches are also to be played with pink ball only.
