The third Test is being played between India and England at The Lord’s Stadium in London. India’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was injured on the first day of the match on Thursday. He was replaced by Dhruv Juril wicketkeeping. Nitish Reddy took 2 wickets in his first over. Joe Root completed 3 thousand Test runs against India.

The painting of Sachin’s photo taken in 2007 was made by Artist Stuart Piercen Wright. The photo will remain in the MCC Museum until the year is over, which will be placed in Lord’s pavilion in 2026.

3. Reddi got 2 wickets in the first over Nitish Kumar Reddy came to bowl for the first time in the 14th over. He sent both England openers to the pavilion in this over. Pant’s finger was injured, the team Physio came to check him and took Pant with him. From the 35th over again, 12th player Dhruv Jurlel took wicketkeeping in place of Pant. He also caught Oli Pope’s catch.

5. Route completed 3 thousand Test runs against India England’s middle order batter Joe Root completed 3 thousand runs in the Test against India. He is also the highest run -scorer batter against India. Root completed 3 thousand Test runs as soon as he scored the 45th run in his innings. Root became the 9th player in the world to score 3 thousand plus test against a team.
Root also put a fifty on the first day of the match. This is his 67th Half Century in Test career. He is now just 2 fifty away from Sachin Tendulkar in the record of putting the most fifty in Tests. Sachin has 68 Test fifty in his name.

6. Jadeja lured Root to take runs Akashdeep threw the 83rd and last over of the first day. He threw out the fourth ball of stump of the over. Joe Root played the cut shot and the ball went to Ravindra Jadeja standing on deep backward point. Root completed a run, so Jadeja picked up the ball.
Jadeja again lured the route to race another run and he kept the ball on the ground. The routes also came up to half the pitch, but Ben Stokes did not move forward on the other end. Root got only 1 run and he was not out for 99 runs by the end of the day’s play.
