In the 54th HFI Senior National Handball Championships held from 28 June to 3 July in Bhuj city of Gujarat, Haryana’s women’s handball team performed brilliantly and defeated Madhya Pradesh to enter the semi -finals.

Dr. Preetpal Singh Saluja, General Secretary of the Handball Federation of India, has congratulated the Haryana team on this success. Team coach Vivek Kharkia said that the players made the state proud by performing strongly in the competition.

The Haryana team’s coaching team included Raju Nathuwas (head coach), Anju Baljot and Sudesh Kaluwala (assistant coach), while the team captained the captaincy by Sonia Litani. The championship is organized by the Handball Federation of India.
