India’s Bangladesh tour will begin on August 17.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam has said that the situation is not yet clear regarding the ODI and T20 series against India. He informed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is waiting for his government’s approval.
India has to visit Bangladesh from August 17, where 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches were to be played. But due to the current political situation, this series seems difficult to be on time. Aminul said that if this series could not be held in August, we will try to organize some other time in future.
Discussion on options continues- Aminul Talking to the media after the board meeting held at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday (June 30), Aminul Islam said, our positive talks are going on with BCCI. It is not necessary that the series be held in August or September, we are planning to do it at some other time. BCCI is waiting for approval from its government.

Preparation for change in selection committee Aminul informed that the female selector will soon be included for the women’s team. Right now only Sajjad Ahmed is the selectors of the women’s team. He said that seriousness about women’s cricket is being increased.
