1. Deepam Seth becomes the new DGP of Uttarakhand
On November 25, senior IPS officer Deepam Seth was appointed the 13th DGP of Uttarakhand. Deepam Seth is a 1995 batch IPS officer. Before this he was working as ADG in SSB.
Before this, Deepam Seth had also served as IG in ITBP.
2. Essar Group co-founder Shashi Ruia passes away
On November 25, Essar Group co-founder Shashi Ruia passed away due to prolonged illness. Shashi Ruia was 81 years old. According to business magazine Forbes, the net worth of Essar Company in 2021 was around Rs 18,500 crore.
Shashikant Ruia started his career in the year 1965 under the guidance of his father Nand Kishore Ruia.

1. ICSE, ISC board exam datesheet released
CISCE Board has released the datesheet of ICSE and ISC board exams. ICSE i.e. 10th board examinations will be held from 18 February to 27 March 2025. Whereas ISC i.e. 12th board examinations will be held from 13 February to 5 April 2025. You can check subject wise time table on cisce.org.
2. Change in date of ICAI CA Foundation Exam
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India i.e. ICAI has changed the date of CA Foundation Exam. The exam was earlier to be held on January 14. The exam date was postponed due to Makar Sankranti, Bihu and Pongal. The exam will now be held on 12, 16, 18 and 20 January.
