Delhi University has started the process of admission in undergraduate courses. The Common seat allocation system i.e. CSAS portal for admission in 2025-26 session has gone live. Candidates can enter their registration on the online portal.
Tie-breaker will also be from 10th numbers
This year a change has been made in the process of admission. DU has told that if Cuet score beans are there, this time there will be a tie-breaker dyside from the 10th marks besides 12th. Till last year, the candidates who brought more number in 12th were given preference when the beans were score.
DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh said that this year the auto-access option is applicable on the portal. That is, when the seat is vacant, it will be accepted with you. This will not miss the seat allotment of students.
71,624 seats of 69 colleges will be admitted
DU is offering admission in 71,624 seats of its 69 colleges this year. Students can take admission in a total of 79 undergraduate courses. This year’s academic session will begin on 1 August.
Phase 2 will be held after Cuet Result
The Phase 2 CUET result of the undergraduate admission will begin after the release. Students will be able to choose from the options of 1 language + 3 subjects and 2 language + 2 subjects. By which the score will be better, it will be consumed for admission.
Till last year, there was a compulsory of 30% marks in the language for BSC (H) course, which has been abolished this time. Apart from this, DU has also started taking admissions from the Center for Innovation for its skill based courses.
