The Sophie Eklaston could not play the previous series against the West Indies.
Left arm spinner Sophie Sophie Sophie’s return to England’s squad for the T20 series against India Women’s. The 14-member squad’s English team will play 5 T20 series against India from June 28. The ODI series team is yet to be announced.
Singlestone was on break from cricket England’s No.-1 T20 bowler Sophie was on a break from Soloston Cricket. She could not even play the team’s previous series against the West Indies. Leg -spinner Sarah Glenn was excluded due to the return of Eklaston.
Former England captain Heather Knight also dropped out of the squad due to injury. In his place, Lauren filler got a place in the team. Apart from these 2 changes, there was no change in the T20 playing team against the West Indies.
England won the 2017 ODI World Cup under the captaincy of Heather Knight. In his place, Natli Sear Brant was named the new captain of England.
Good challenge against India- coach England Women’s team head coach Charlotte Edwards said, ‘We are ready to play against India, their team is among the best teams in the world. We hope to get a good challenge before the World Cup.
Sophie’s return has increased the team’s strength. They have excellent quality. However, Sarah Glenn had to be excluded due to Sophie’s return. We are happy that the squad has the best players for 1-1 space. Still we cannot make all the part of the team.
T20 series by July 12 The 5 T20 series between India and England will run from 28 June to 12 July. The last 4 T20s will be played on 1, 4, 9 and 12 July. The series will have 3 ODIs on 16, 19 and 22 July.
England defeated West Indies 3–0 in their previous T20 series.
