On 11 June, Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala was elected the 180th President of the American Medical Association i.e. AMA.
Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala is also known as Bobby Mukkamala.
- For the first time in the 178 -year history of AAMA, an Indian -origin person has commanded the organization.
- The American Medical Association is an institution to represent doctors and medical students in the US.

It was inaugurated by Union Minority and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.
- The program is being organized by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
- Its purpose is to showcase the ministry’s plans, programs and achievements.
- The theme of this program is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sab’s Faith, Everyone’s Efforts’.
- This program will run till 15 June 2025.
- It is showing more than 70 handicrafts and handloom products made by artisans of 162 minority communities.

1. Recruitment of 1373 posts of teacher in Jharkhand
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission i.e. JSSC has released an official notification for recruitment to 1373 posts of Secondary Teacher. The application for this recruitment will be started from June 18. After the application starts, the candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.
The last date for depositing fees for this recruitment has been fixed on 19 July 2025. At the same time, the time will be given from June 23 to July 15 for correction in the form.
Educational qualification:
- Degree of B.Ed., BTech, M.Ed., MSc, MCA or Post Graduate.
Salary:
- 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400 per month.

2. Admitted to 202 posts in Tamil Nadu Postal Department

The Commission issued a notice and informed about postponing UP PGT written examination.
