West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Puran has retired from international cricket. He decided this at the age of 29. Puran is the highest run-scorer in T20 International for West Indies.

For the West Indies, he played the last ODI against Sri Lanka in July 2023. At the same time, he played the last T20 International match against Bangladesh in December 2024.

2,275 runs in 106 T20 International matches Puran played 61 ODIs and 106 T20 matches for the West Indies. In 61 ODIs, he scored 1983 runs at an average of 39.66 and a strike rate of 99.15. In this format, he scored 11 half -centuries and 3 centuries. He also represented the West Indies in the 2019 World Cup.
Puran never got a chance to play Test matches during his international career. After retiring from international cricket, he will now be seen playing in the T20 league around the world.
