Since 2022, 126 women joined NDA

Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth had told in Parliament in March 2025 that 126 women have received admission in NDA since the first batch entry of women cadets in 2022. 121 of them are currently training. Five cadets resigned.

121 women are from 17 states of the country. One of them is a cadet from Karnataka. Haryana has the highest number of 35 women cadets.

There are 28 from Uttar Pradesh, 13 from Rajasthan and 11 in Maharashtra. In the southern states, in addition to a cadet in Karnataka, four cadets from Kerala have also joined the NDA.

The five cadets leaving the academy are from Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
