The final match of IPL 2025 will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Army might will be saluted at Operation Sindoor in the closing ceremony of IPL 2025. BCCI has invited all the three army chiefs in the final match to be held in Ahmedabad on 3 June.
Board Secretary Devjit Saikia said on Tuesday- ‘We have invited Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh’s Tripathi and Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh to see the final match of the IPL in Ahmedabad,’
BCCI Secretary Saikia said-
BCCI salutes the valor, courage and selfless service of the country’s armed forces. The army appreciated the heroic efforts under Operation Sindoor which protected and inspired it.
In response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, the Indian Army attacked 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan by running Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May. After this, India agreed to stop its campaign at the request of Pakistan’s ceasefire.
Closing Ceremony dedicated to Armed Forces: Saikia Saikia said- ‘As appreciation of the army, we have decided to dedicate the closing ceremony to the Armed Forces and honor our heroes. While cricket remains a national passion, there is nothing greater than our country and its sovereignty, integrity and security.

IPL was suspended for a week On May 8, the Punjab-Delhi match was stopped in Dharamshala amid Pakistan’s drone attack. The very next day BCCI suspended the IPL for a week. Then after the announcement of the ceasefire, BCCI re-scheduled the remaining matches of the IPL.

Shortly after, the complete blackout was done at Dharamshala Stadium.
Fans were taken out of the stadium within 20 minutes.
IPL final match will be played on 3 June The remaining matches of IPL started from 17 May. According to the new schedule, the final match of this season will be played on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
