Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has congratulated Punjab’s young cricketers Vihan Malhotra, Rahul Kumar and Anmoljit Singh on being elected to India’s Under-19 team for the upcoming England tour. The three have been included in the team led by Ayush Mhatre.

The tour includes a 50-over practice match, followed by a five-match young ODI series and two multi-day matches against England Under-19 from 24 June to 23 July.

Harbhajan expressed happiness over the inclusion of three players from Punjab in the Under-19 team and praised the Punjab Cricket Association for continuously working in the best interest of Indian cricket.

Left-arm opener Vihaan was the vice-captain of India’s Under-19 team for four-day matches against Australia last year. At the same time, the remaining two players have also shown their good performance.
