After which he complained to the police that he cheated Rs 1.68 lakh from him. The police have registered a case against the accused.

- Connected to WhatsApp group through Telegram: A young man from Mundalia village, who runs an accountant firm in Rewari city, said that he runs the Telegram app. The young man in a group on Telegram linked him to a WhatsApp group. The group was of those who play the dream team contest and guide them in the IPL. He too was noting the activity of this group for a few days. Everyday people associated with the group would message that today they won 50 thousand rupees. Some would say that if they won 10 lakhs, someone would have won 20 lakhs. The people of the group would congratulate him.
- Greetings came in greed by giving a message: The accountant further said that seeing the congratulatory messages of the people, he also generated his ID on the My XI app for the dream team. When he informed the people of the group, a member also asked him to win millions of rupees by getting him rank in an IPL match. After this, personal chat started from that group member. He explained how to choose the team to win the money.
- Take the ID and its password for the dream team: The accountant said that the method of the group was telling him the methods that they were not understanding. When this series continued for 2-3 days, the young man told him that you give me the ID and password of your dream team. I make 3-4 teams for you, you just keep paying. According to the accountant, at the behest of the young man, he gave Dream-11 ID and password to the young man.
- Transfer 1 lakh 68 thousand rupees in 4 times: According to the accountant, after taking the ID and password, the young man called him on 27 April that today the IPL has a match between Mumbai and Lucknow and Delhi Capital and RCB. On this, the young man sent Rs 1 lakh 68 thousand in 4 times and got transferred by sending QR code. After this he was told to be ready for the party after the match.

Both matches were over at night, but he neither got a call nor message from the young man. When he checked his Dream-11 ID, he did not get any rank in it. He then checked the WhatsApp group in which he was connected. It was learned that this group was also deleted. When he called the young man’s number, he refused to give the money. After this, he realized the fraud.
Police investigating the case Investigating officer of Rewari Cyber Police Station ASI Charan Singh said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim and investigation has been started. Efforts are being made to reach the accused through the accounts that have been transacted. The matter is currently under investigation. The common man should not get into the trap of such cyber thugs, in such a situation, such cheating can be avoided only by taking precautions in cases.
