After 8 days of gap, the IPL starts again from 17 May. The tournament was stopped in view of the tension situation between India and Pakistan. Due to which many foreign players returned to their country. The tournament, which ends on May 25, will now run till June 3, during which international matches will also start. For this reason some foreign players are difficult to return.
Australia’s Travis Head and Pat Cummins will play IPL, but Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood seem difficult to return. Many players from South Africa, England and West Indies may also leave some of the IPL matches due to international schedule. At the same time, some players including Phil Soult, Romario Shepherd and Trent Bolt have joined their respective teams.
How many foreigners returned to play IPL?
1. GT: Butler, Rabada, Rutherford will play
Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan, Sherfen Rutherford, Karim Janat and Dasun Shanaka are in India. All are practicing at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmad. Jose Butler and Jerald Korad will soon join the team. Butler will also return to England by 26 May due to international matches, Kusal Mendis will replace him. Rabada is also difficult to play playoffs.
Jose Butler will not be able to play a playoff match for Gujarat.
2. RCB: Hazelwood is difficult to play
Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Phil Soult, Jacob Bethel, Lium Livingston and Nuwan Thushara have started practicing with the team in Bangalore. Lungi Engidi will also join the team, but will have to return to South Africa to prepare for the World Test Championship on 26 May. Josh can be out of the tournament due to Hazlewood Injury. 3. PBKS: Janson has not returned yet
Jawier Bartlett and Glenn Maxwell’s replacement Mitchell Owen has joined Punjab. Josh English, Marcus Stoynis, Marco Janson, Ajmatullah Omrajai, Aaron Hardy and Kyle Jaimison may soon be part of the team. If Punjab reaches the playoffs, it is difficult to play Jesan and English.

4. Mi: Return of Santner and Bolt
Mitchell Santner and Trent Bolt have started practice with the team. Ryan Ricelton, Will Jacks and Corbin Bosch will also soon join the team. However, it is difficult to play only the playoffs of all three due to international cricket. Mujib ur Rehman and Rece Topley are also going to join the team soon.

5. DC: Stark is difficult to return
Australia’s Mitchell Starc may be out of the second phase of the IPL. Given the WTC, it is difficult to come to India. Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh will also be able to join the team only after May 20. Donovan Pherira, Faf du Plessis, Sedikullah Atal and Triston Stabs will soon join the team. 6. KKR: Moin Ali will not come
Andre Russell, Sunil Naren, Quinton de Kock, Enrich Norte, Spencer Johnson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz have started practicing with KKR players in Bengaluru. At the same time, Moin Ali refused to return to India due to injury. The arrival of Inzard Rovman Powell is also difficult.

7. LSG: Most players will come tomorrow
Nicholas Puran has been able to join the team. David Miller, Aden Markram, Matthew Breetzaki, Mitchell Marsh and Shamar Joseph are expected to come by 17 May. If LSG reaches the playoffs, the marks will not be able to play the match.

8. SRH: Cummins and Head will come tomorrow

Pat Cummins will reach Lucknow on May 17, where SRH’s next match will be with LSG.
9. RR: Jofra Archer will not play
Jofra Archer of England refused to play the second phase of IPL due to injury. His name is also included in the England ODI team, the team has to face the West Indies from May 29. Luhan-Dri Pretorians, Shimron Hetmyer, Vanindu Hasranga, Fazalhak Farooqui, Quena Mafaka and Nandre Burgers may soon join the team. Mahish Toricha is also struggling with injury.

10. CSK: Karan-Ovartan will not play
Sam Karan and Jamie Overn refused to play a second phase match from CSK, which was out of the playoffs. Mathish Pathirana, Noor Ahmed, Nathan Ellis, Devon Conway, Dewald Brevis and Rachin Ravindra may soon join the team.
