Shefali Verma scored 941 runs in 12 ODIs of the domestic ODI tournament, yet he could not return.
India has announced a women’s team for the tour of England. From June 28, 5 T20 and 3 ODI series will be played between the two teams. In both the formats, Harmanpreet Kaur will be captain and Smriti Mandhana will be the vice -captain.
Shefali and Harleen out of ODI team Shefali Verma did not get a chance in the ODI team once again. He scored 941 runs in 12 matches of the domestic ODI tournament, yet he could not return. Along with him, Harleen Deol was also not given a place in the ODI squad. Both players will play T20. In the ODI, Pratika Rawal and Tejal Hasbanis were replaced by them.
Shefali Verma was also not selected for the ODI tri -series in Sri Lanka.
The series will run till 22 July The series will begin with the first T20 between India and England Women’s on June 28. The match in Nottingham will start at 7 pm Indian time. The team will then play the remaining T20 on 1, 4, 9 and 12 July. The four matches will start at 11 pm. There will be 3 ODIs on 16, 19 and 22 July. The second match will start at 3.30 pm, the remaining ODI will start at 5.30 pm.
