The board exams are over and now all the boards are releasing the results one by one. In such a situation, some stories also come up which show unimaginable courage, dedication and determination.

A similar story is that of Ishika Bala, a 10th topper in Chhattisgarh Board. Ishika, a resident of Kankeed district of Maoists, first defeated cancer, and now topped the board exam.

Farmer became father’s daughter’s topper

Ishika’s father does farming in a village in Chhattisgarh. Ishika has topped the Chhattisgarh Board’s 10th exam and topped 99.2% marks. It is worth noting that this time only 79% of students have passed in the 10th exam of Chhattisgarh Board. Apart from this, the district Ishika comes from, that is, the female literacy rate of Kanken district of Chhattisgarh is only 59.6%.

Ishika’s father says that he is proud of the daughter’s success and he takes inspiration every day with the daughter’s fight.

Exam not given last year due to cancer

Ishika had to give 10th board exam last year. But due to long treatment of cancer, he had to give up board exams. Recently Ishika won the battle with blood cancer and continued to study along with treatment.

Ishika credits her success to her parents and teachers. She says that she wants to become an IAS officer growing up. She says that becoming an IAS is a dream for her and because of this dream she won by a disease like cancer. During the treatment, whenever she feels weak, she used to get a new energy in herself remembering her dream.

The 12th topper is also from Kanken

Apart from Ishika, Akhil Sen, who topped the 12th in Chhattisgarh Board, is also from Kanken district. He is from Akhil Commerce Branch and in 12th he got 491 out of 500 points. He has scored 98.2% marks. Akhil’s father runs a newspaper agency. Along with the preparation of the board exam, all morning, he used to get up from house to house and put up newspapers.

Apart from this, 85 students are from Bastar Division in Chhattisgarh in the top 10 list of board exams. This area has been suffering from Maoists for the last 25 years.

3.3 lakh students gave 10th board board

On Wednesday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the results of the 10th and 12th board. With this, the Chief Minister said, ‘Those who could not succeed this time do not have to reduce their hearts. Failure is the first step of success. Now prepare for the next attachment.

This time 3.3 lakh students in Chhattisgarh gave the 10th exam. This time 76% of students have passed in 10th, which is better than last year. Last year, only 75.64% students could pass 10th. Talking about 12th, the results of the students of Raipur city were the best. Out of the top 10 students, 7 lived from Raipur. The overall pass percentage of 12th was 81.8%. It consists of 84.7% girls and 78% boys.
