National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for UGC NET December 2024 from November 19. Candidates can apply for NET December 2024 by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The last date of application form is 10 December 2024.
Application Fee:
- General – Rs 1150
- EWS/OBC – Rs 600
- SC/ST/PWD – Rs 325
- Third Gender- Rs 325
Candidates can pay the fees through credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI. The last date for depositing the application fee is 11 December 2024.
12th December Correction window will open on
Correction windows for any mistakes or corrections in application registration will be opened on December 12 and 13. Any kind of improvement can be made in these two days.
According to the official notification, UGC NET December 2024 exam will be conducted from January 1 to January 19, 2025. Exam centers have not been announced yet. The date of admit card will also be released later.
Important criteria for UGC NET
Educational Qualification:
- Masters degree from any recognized university
- General Category with 55%
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD – 50%
Age Limit:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – 30 years
- NET- No Limit
- Age relaxation will be given as per rules.

Sadhna Shubhadarshini had cleared UGC NET JRF in June 2023. Currently she is doing PhD in Mass Communication at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBPU), Lucknow.
