Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification to increase the number of constables in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPS), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Assam Rifles. Now the number of posts has increased from 39,481 to 53,690. A computer-based examination (CBT) conducted from February 4 to 25, 2025 was conducted for this recruitment.

- Border Security Force (BSF) – 16,371
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) – 16,571
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) – 14,359
- Armed Seema Bal (SSB) – 902
- Indo -Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) – 3,468
- Assam Rifles (AR) – 1,865
- Secretariat Security Force (SSF) – 132
- Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) – 22

Educational qualification:
10th pass.
Edge Limit:
18 – 23 years.
Fees:
- General: 100 rupees
- Reserve categories are waived fees for women and ex -servicemen.
Selection Process:
- Written test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Physical standard test
Salary:
- 18,000 to 56,900 rupees for NCB soldier.
- 21,700 to 69,100 rupees for all other posts.
